The test never runs on the original but on a working copy of it – fully configured, assigned and submitted
Wie ein Pharmaunternehmen die Arbeitskopien für seine Dokumentenprüfungen automatisch erstellt, korrekt klassifiziert und zur Freigabe zuweist.
The documents sit in an internal system, organised by category. Before any test, a working copy has to be created so the original stays untouched. Until now a person created each copy by hand, carried over all the metadata from the original, classified the copy as a test execution and started the process – the same sequence for every document. The effort grew directly with the volume.
A robot reads the document list from an Excel file, filters for the relevant document types and leaves defined formats out of scope. For each document it creates the working copy, assigns the naming, classifies it as a test execution, sets the metadata, assigns the person responsible for approval and submits it for testing. At the end of the run it sends a report covering every processed document, its status and any errors encountered.
