How a pharma company automatically downloads, renames and files the documents and reports for every application from the HR system – triggered by a single CSV list.
For every application on the list, someone had to log into the HR system, locate the application, download the documents, rename them according to a naming convention and upload them to the designated folder. Every entry, every run.
A robot monitors the inbox for emails containing a CSV file with application and employee numbers. It works through the list entry by entry: it logs into the HR system, locates the application, downloads all available documents and reports, renames them using the application number and files them in the transfer folder. If no documents exist for an application, it skips the entry and continues.
