Orders for made-to-measure compression garments arrive daily by email – as Excel files or as PDFs with scanned or photographed handwritten prescriptions, often unclear. Entering a single one into the ERP takes 15 to 30 minutes. At month-end the volume rises by around 50%.
A robot takes the attachments out of the emails, and AI reads the details – including handwritten prescriptions. Errors and inconsistencies are flagged in colour.
