Around 50 orders were received by email every day, in different formats and languages. Each order had to be read, checked against a complex set of rules, and manually entered into the ERP system. The high volume of orders created bottlenecks, particularly in the morning.
A software robot powered by generative AI identifies and extracts the relevant data from email orders in different formats and languages. The robot then checks the extracted data for potential errors. Any issues are presented to employees for validation. Once an order has been successfully validated, the robot transfers it to the ERP system.
